WHO ARE ROME SDS
Rome SDS are an American Company, based in Vermont. They specialise in snowboards, snowboard bindings, gloves, boots and apparel. Founded in 2001 and sell merchandise all over the world.
BRIEF
Design and create a unique selling point for a wide range of Rome SDS gloves and mittens.
Unit to be flexible and mobile to adapt to different stores and locations. Units made to fit all range of gloves and mittens, with a smaller unit to allow to fit four or five items.
DELIVERY
Having done my market research around the UK at various snowboard shops I noticed a lack of stand out POS for gloves and mittons. With a lot of stores arranging all their stock in one big area with very little selling points and no focus on individual brands.
I decided to create a theme that could be used on various type of POS from a standing floor stand unit to a slat wall installation and a counter top unit. Making the design fully flexible as asked for in the brief with a new and unique design to make the unit stand out against their competitors.
The design was created using the 'We Believe' campaign on the Rome website and rolling that design through all the units, creating an ongoing theme.
